Drone technology has become popular in the past decade thanks to Chris Anderson who was previously the editor-in-chief of Wired, a magazine dedicated solely to technology and its effect on people. They are armed with missiles which can be used in attacks against enemy troops. Such drones can cost anything from $5-$13 million per drone. This depends on the flight hours of the drones which ranges from $2500-$30,000 per flight hour. Drones that can be used by individuals for recreational purposes start at $500 while the middle end drones can be bought from $2500.
