There are several reasons why you should not take advice from a mentor that cannot guide you on certain investments or building wealth. You truly want to make sure you have a mentor that is credible. Many times so called mentors will appear to be a mentor. They will use the jargon and all the words needed to hook people into signing up for their mentorship. Mentorship can be a major financial investment. Most mentors charge a hefty price. So, make sure you select a credible mentor that is not simply posing or pretending to be legit.

Read books to learn more about picking good mentors. Read articles online. Seek out recommendations from others who have hired mentors. You will want to make sure you have selected someone that has a proven track record of offering quality mentoring.

Now you should have a better idea of why the right mentor is important for keeping wealth. Building wealth is one thing. But keeping wealth is another thing. Too many times do people allow their wealth to dwindle down. Having the right mentor will help you to position yourself to maintain wealth for a long period of time.

Picking the right mentor will save you from losing money on the wrong person. Don't fall for any get rich schemes. A quality mentor will not try to win you over with any get rick quick schemes. Falling for a get rich quick scheme will cause you to have to start over with a different mentor. The right mentor will only guide you on working hard to continue building your wealth.
